MBSC Learning & Development (L&D) program launched last season, its coaching structure and development pathway runs classes after school and on Sundays. Sailors aged 7-10 yrs are invited to try out 8.30am for a 9-12 any Sunday, vacancies through the season, numbers are limited. “Coaches deliver better sailing outcomes!” MBSC L&D aims to set a new standard in the way sailing is taught, central to the approach is “active learning” for sailors and the empowerment of coaches to improve outcomes. MBSC was excited to launch its L&D program last season, Five months later it had the largest Bic Fleet in the state, 10 months later 4 of those Bic sailors had invitations to Yachting WA’s elite ‘Westsail’ training camp.
