Flying Ant
Flying Ant Nationals 27 December to 3 January 2013
A flying ant is a 2 person skiff dinghy with spinnaker and one crew member on trapeze. Suitable for 12-16 yrs olds, it is an excellent training boat for the larger high performance dinghies. Safe, easy and fun to sail, it is also a fast planning dinghy.
Musto Performance Skiff
This year’s Musto Skiff nationals January 4th to 8th are the test event for the 2015 World Championships to be sailed from Mounts Bay Sailing Club. The Musto skiffs are the fastest one man sailing skiff in the World that look and perform like a one man version of the 49er
The Musto Performance Skiff has been designed and developed with the following brief in mind – to produce an elegant yet simple dinghy with blistering performance that is highly enjoyable to sail.
29er, 49er & 49er FX Nationals
Australian designed, 4.9m one-design skiff with masthead Asymmetric Spinnaker and both crew on trapeze. The 49er is the current Olympic Class skiff and is one of the fastest and most exciting boats in the world.
Racing is extremely tight attracting sailor of the highest standard.
Sharpie Nationals
A huge fleet of 66 Sharpies are currently contesting the 70th Sharpie National Tiltes out of the Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club. Racing is close to the beach and spectating is great.
